Go behind the scenes with legendary drone pilot JayByrd Films (Jay Christensen) and World Champion Barefoot Water Skier Ben Groen on this epic over-the-water FPV drone shoot for MISSION Boat Gear.

Ben Groen's unworldly barefoot skills were on full display – captured by the one and only JayByrd at speeds, angles, and frame rates never-before-seen. The day was full of surprises including a few unplanned drone splashes, but when we ran the footage it was well worth it.

Originally from New Zealand, Ben Groen now lives in Florida where he is a professional barefoot waterskier and coach. He was absolutely fearless, attempting stunts that were both jaw-dropping and (as our lawyer would like to clearly state) not to be attempted or recreated.
